Clockwise from top: Powdered, Head Over Heels, Nutmeg, Neon Rose and Flush
Topshop blushes are something that every girl really ought to own.  With the exception of Powdered, all of mine are cream formula which blends and transforms into a pretty pigmented flush on the cheeks.  Despite a relatively unusual formulation, these really are so easy to use.  I smudge a bit on my fingers, pop it onto my cheeks and then blend with an elf powder brush.  The messier ones you can see are a resulting of trying to apply product directly to my brush; it didn't work and the warmth provided by my fingertips really does aid application.

Which brings me to my one bugbear, and I think this is one that many share.  Unlike some, I'm not wild on the packaging to begin with but the fact that it gets so damn messy is just annoying.  The lid attracts stains like no other and after a few applications the product starts looking smeary in and around the pan.  That said, it's a sturdy enough compact which does its job, and at only £6 who am I to complain?

As you can see, Powdered is a bright bubble gum pink and the only powder formulation of my bunch.  Head Over Heels is my latest addition and is more coral-toned than the pinkier Flush.  Neon Rose is a vibrant pink blogger favourite, whilst Nutmeg is rather more understated but in actual fact my favourite due to its wearability.

Do you own any Topshop blushes?

  3. I really like the look of Head Over Heels and Nutmeg! I don't own any Topshop makeup, but I have my eye on the new collection though, and really want the nail art pens :) I see what you mean about the packaging getting messy, but as you said it's pretty easy to overlook as they're really affordable :)

  7. I don't even own a topshop blush! Ive eyed them up for ages but I'm scared I cannot use the cream formulas! They look so scarily bright in the pan, but do look lush when I've seen girls wear it!
Might get one today actually ;) xxx

  8. Ive got neon rose and Head over Heels, nutmeg looks like it would maybe work for contouring? I love the staying power of these babies, but definitely not even worth trying with a brush, fingers all the way!!! xx
