9 Little Things: Life as a Grown Up

  1. Ed and I had our first date on Valentine's Day 2009.  In the way that only he could, he got salt in his eye...it was a tense few minutes.
  2. We had a long-distance relationship for the first 18 months which saw me driving to Norwich every weekend.
  3. I finally shed all the weight I'd put on since leaving school (5st!)
  4. To try new exercises, I dragged Mum to a Jive class.  I could dedicate a whole post to this, but let's just say it was like middle-aged speed dating and I spent the evening being passed around (and having to touch!!) 95% of the men in the room.
  5. I saw The Legendary Miss Britney Spears in concert.
  6. I moved out and learnt to cook.  And yes, I use that term loosely.
  7. I started blogging and a shopping addiction soon followed.
  8. I touched a lemur at Whipsnade Zoo and got told off.
  9. I became a responsible grown up who owns 2 cats.  Sometimes the love I feel bubbles up as a surprisingly overwhelming lump in my throat (aaaah).

    1. Haha no, it's just typical Ed! We had that oh-so romantic meal of fish and chips, then suddenly he's blinking loads and his eye's watering....somehow he rubbed salt in it! The first of many mishaps... x
