What was on my face last week

The past few weeks have seen the addition of a few new products in my make up bag, and as a result I've been sticking to the same make up look each day (what's happened to me?!) so it seemed as good a time as any to spill out the contents and let you have a look around.

The new things in question are the Maybelline Gel Liner in Brown, their Brow Drama in Deep Blonde and the Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Eyeshadow in Permanent Taupe.  What can I say, there was an offer on Maybelline in Superdrug and I couldn't resist!  Permanent Taupe is a shade I've had my eye on for a while now, and I'm really loving the cooler grey tone it gives to my eyes.

To blend into my crease I've been turning to Urban Decay's Tease from the Naked 2 Palette.  My old favourite Max Factor Tonal Eye Brightening Mascara for Green eyes was of course used, as was my MAC Pencil Liner in Powersurge.  And as well as the Brow Drama I've been using my HD Brows palette/

As for my face itself, I've gone back to Revlon's Nearly Naked foundation with my Origins Quick! Hide! Concealer.  To contour I've gone for my Inglot Cream Foundation (explanatory post here!) with a light application of Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel.  I'm loving cream blushes at the moment too, so my blusher of choice has been the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Stonewashed Pink.  And finally, to highlight, that recent blogger fave, The Balm's Mary-Lou Manizer.  Mine's smashed to smithereens, although I am feeling rather smug for featuring it on here nearly two years ago

  1. I've lusted after that highlighter for so long! Go you for having it before it became super popular! Isnt it nice when that happens!

  3. You're the only other person I've come across who uses my Chanel bronzer! Kindred spirits clearly :) LOVE your blog, your style is amazing x
