Interior details: The Tree

Image found via pinterest
So the most important question for the moment is....what colour scheme do I go for??
For the past couple of years our tree has been classic red and gold (with no tinsel!!!) but this year I fancy a change.  I saw my dream tree in the garden centre, looking all beautiful and rose gold-y, but it was blimmin' expensive!  I'm leaning towards gold and white, but monochrome could also be a contender.
And is it just me, or is there a serious lack of baubles in the shops this year?  Or perhaps I'm just starting too early...

  1. I love Christmas trees and would keep mine all year around if I could get away with it and just change the decorations! I'm going for white, gold and bronze. Xx

  2. I would personally go with white and gold, I think it's so dreamy and magical! ^^ Hope you find something you like dear! ♥

  3. Ooo I think gold and white sounds lovely. I don't get too involved in our family tree decorating, but I think it'll be different when I have my own home/tree to decorate. I'm with you on the no tinsel thing, I hate the stuff! You're always finding little bits of it around the house halfway into January! xxx

  4. I think that you should go for gold and white; it'll look festive and pretty x

  5. I am so glad you are also in the anti-tinsel brigade. It's horrendous! Gold and white would be lovely- ours is the traditional red/ gold/ green though, so I can't help masses...! xx

  6. Enjoying this post! This is my first Christmas with our own tree...currently trying to convince the other half about the no tinsel thing!

  7. I'm definitely all for picking theme colours when it comes to trees. And I think you can still buy stuff early... but perhaps hold off with the tree!

    Hmm maybe...
