LOOK magazine's interactive issue

If you buy one magazine this weekend it needs to be LOOK.  I'm a long-time fan of LOOK and the work they do in raising the status of highstreet fashion, but this week's interactive issue has just changed the game.

The premise is simple.  You download the free blippar app and then blipp away!  On all the pages with interactive content there's the little blip badge; you open the app, hover you phone over the page and bam!  It's done.  It'll take you to the webpage you can buy items from, or there are other features such as Kate Middleton's fashion file, Scarlett Johansson's hair history and (my personal favourite) the LOOK models coming to life to showcase the clothes.

LOOK have got most areas covered this week.  Ever wanted to be a cover star?  Now you can be!  I think we all know that selfies aren't really my thing, so keep your eyes peeled for Dudley's front page debut making its way to an instagram feed near you soon!

Fear not if you don't think you'll be able to get your hands on a copy of this week's magazine (it is out till Monday though!), because there's interactive content on the digital copy's "tap to buy" scheme and a pop up shop on the website.

I'll admit I did a little squeal when blippar started up on my phone, it's so much fun!  Who else is as excited as me about this?

  1. Is LOOK magazine 99p everywhere? I usually buy it when there's a 'special price' in Tesco. Same for Grazia.

  2. It was a really good issue this wasn't it?! I love this mag it seems to get better and better each week...it has the right combo of fashion/make-up/celebrities etc....and the real life stories always make for a good read too. The only mag I feel that is consistent each week in terms of content.
