"Minor changes can have a major impact"

I spotted these ideas in a list on Michelle's instagram the other day, I'm not sure where they're from originally though.  I had a read through, and whilst they weren't all applicable, some of them really appealed to me.  So rather than a list of unachievable New Year's Resolutions, here's a nice little list of the things I'll be trying to remember to do from now on...

1.  Give lots of compliments.
2.  Change.  Get a haircut, try new perfume, get new sheets.  Become better than you were before.
3.  Eat healthier.
4.  Learn to cook something fancy.
5.  Get up earlier and watch the sun come up.
6.  Tell everyone how much you appreciate them.
7.  Keep your room clean.
8.  Wake up every morning and tell yourself you're going to have a good day.
9.  Go to the library.
10.  Make new memories.
11.  Try to find something to appreciate in everything you do or experience.
12.  Become your own best friend.
13.  Buy yourself a hot chocolate and drink it alone in a cafe.
14.  Learn to love every bit of yourself.
15.  Stop making a big deal out of the little things (totally stole this one from Beyonce!)

  1. This is lovely! I tried to do a resolutions post but they all ended up being about food. So I didn't think 'get fat' was a very good one! xx

  3. Love this list! I don't really make resolutions as such but definitely want to keep up exercising and try to be as healthy as possible in 2014 (let's ignore today's McDonalds!) x
